السيوطي:٤-٢٣١٧b –

"عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: مَا انْتَفَعْتُ بِكَلَامِ أحَدٍ بَعْدَ النَّبِىِّ ﷺ إِلَّا بِشَىْءٍ كَتَبَ بِهِ إلَىَّ ابْنُ أَبِى طَالِبٍ، فَإِنَّهُ كَتَبَ إليَّ بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحَمَن الرَّحِيم أمَّا بَعْدُ: يَا أَخِى! فإِنَّكَ تُسَرُّ بِمَا يَصِيرُ إِلَيْكَ مِمَّا لَمْ يَكُنْ لِيَفُوتَكَ، وَيَسُرُّكَ مَا لَمْ تكُنْ تُدْرِكُهُ، فَمَا نِلْتَ

مِنَ الدُّنْيَا فَلَا تَكُنْ بِهِ فَرِحًا، وَمَا فَاتَكَ مِنْهَا فَلَا تَكُنْ عَلَيْهِ حَزِينًا، وَلْيَكُنْ عَمَلُكَ لِما بَعْدَ الْمَوتِ. وَالسَّلَام".
