السيوطي:٣٠٣-١b –

" عَنْ حَاتِمِ بْنِ الفَضْلِ بْنِ سَالِمِ بْنِ جَوْنِ بْنِ غِيَاثِ بْنِ حَوْطِ بْنِ قِرْدَاسِ بْنِ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ شَبَثِ بْنِ حَدْرَد، حَدَّثَنِى أَبِى فَضْلُ بنُ سَالِمٍ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ سَالِمًا حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ جَوْنِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ غِيَاثِ بْنِ حَوْطٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: وَرَدْتُ علَى النَّبِىِّ ﷺ أَنَا وَرَجلٌ مِنْ بنِى عَدِىٍّ يُقَالُ لَهُ وَافِدٌ، وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ أَوَّلَ مَا أَسْلَمَ: الحَدِيثُ بِطُولِهِ".
