السيوطي:٣-٤٥b-٢ –

"عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ قَالَ: لَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا دَخَل بَيْتًا فِى جَوفِ بَيْتٍ فَأدْمَنَ هُنَاكَ عَمَلًا، أَوْشَكَ النَّاسُ أَنْ يَتَحَدَّثوا بِه، وَمَا مِنْ عامِلٍ عَمِلَ عَمَلًا إِلاَّ كَسَاهُ الله رِدَاءَ عَمَلِهِ إِنْ كانَ خَيْرًا فَخَيْر، وَإنْ كَانَ شَرّا فَشَرٌّ".  

[ش] ابن أبى شيبة [حم] أحمد في الزهد، مسدد، [هب] البيهقى في شعب الإيمان وقال: هذا هو الصحيح موقوفًا، وقد رفعه بعض الضعفاء
