مَنْ يُكَنَّى أَبَا الْحَجَّاجِ أَبُو الْحَجَّاجِ الثُّمَالِيُّ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The grave speaks to the deceased when he is placed in it, saying: Woe be to you, O Son of Adam! What deceived you about me? Did you not know that I am the house of trials, the house of darkness, the house of loneliness, and the house of worms? What deceived you about me when you used to pass by me as a passerby? So if he is a righteous person, the grave will respond to him and say: Have you seen if he was one who commanded the good and forbade evil? Then the grave will say: I will turn green for him, and his body will turn into light, and his soul will ascend to the Lord of the worlds. Then a man asked: O Abu Al-Hajjaj, what is Al-Faddad? He replied: It is the one who precedes one person and delays another, like your walking, O son of my brother, sometimes he walks fast and sometimes he walks slow. And on that day, he will be wearing and preparing himself.  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْقَبْرُ لِلْمَيِّتِ حِينَ يُوضَعُ فِيهِ وَيْحَكَ ابْنَ آدَمَ مَا غَرَّكَ بِي؟ أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنِّي بَيْتُ الْفِتْنَةِ وَبَيْتُ الظُّلْمَةِ وَبَيْتُ الْوَحْدَةِ وَبَيْتُ الدُّودِ؟ مَا غَرَّكَ بِي إِذَا كُنْتَ تَمُرُّ بِي فَدَّادًا؟ فَإِنْ كَانَ مُصْلِحًا أَجَابَ عَنْهُ مُجِيبُ الْقَبْرِ فَيَقُولُ أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَ مِمَّنْ يَأْمُرُ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَى عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ؟ فَيَقُولُ الْقَبْرُ إِذَنْ أَعُودُ إِلَيْهِ خَضْرَاءَ وَيَعُودُ جَسَدُهُ نُورًا وَيَصْعَدُ رُوحُهُ إِلَى رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا أَبَا الْحَجَّاجِ وَمَا الْفَدَّادُ؟ قَالَ الَّذِي يُقْدِمُ رَجُلًا وَيُؤَخِّرُ أُخْرَى كَمِشْيَتِكَ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي أَحْيَانًا وَهُوَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَلْبَسُ وَيَتَهَيَّأُ
