"يَأتِى الشَّيْطَانُ أحَدَكُمْ فَيَقُولُ: مَنْ خَلَقَ كَذَا؟ مَنْ خَلَقَ كَذَا؟ حَتَّى يَقُولَ: مَنْ خَلَقَ رَبَّكَ؟ فَإِذَا بَلَغَهُ فَلْيَسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّه وَلْيَنْتَهِ".

bukhari:3276 – Yaḥyá b. Bukayr > al-Layth > ʿUqayl > Ibn Shihāb > ʿUrwah > Abū Hurayrah

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Satan comes to one of you and says, 'Who created so-and-so? 'till he says, 'Who has created your Lord?' So, when he inspires such a question, one should seek refuge with Allah and give up such thoughts."

البخاري:٣٢٧٦ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَأْتِي الشَّيْطَانُ أَحَدَكُمْ فَيَقُولُ مَنْ خَلَقَ كَذَا مَنْ خَلَقَ كَذَا حَتَّى يَقُولَ مَنْ خَلَقَ رَبَّكَ فَإِذَا بَلَغَهُ فَلْيَسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ وَلْيَنْتَهِ

muslim:134c – Zuhayr b. Ḥarb And ʿAbd b. Ḥumayd > Yaʿqūb > Zuhayr > Yaʿqūb b. Ibrāhīm from my cousin Ibn Shihāb from his uncle > ʿUrwah b. al-Zubayr > Abū Hurayrah

The Satan comes to everyone. of you and says: Who created this and that? till he questions: Who created your Lord? When he comes to that, one should seek refuge in Allah and keep away (from such idle thoughts).

مسلم:١٣٤c – حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ جَمِيعًا عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ
