"يا وَابِصَةُ! جِئْتَ تَسْأَلُنِى عَنِ البِرِّ والإِثْمِ؟ البِرُّ: مَا انْشَرحَ لَهُ صَدْرُكَ، والإِثْمُ: ما حاكَ في نَفْسِكَ، وإِنْ أفْتَاكَ عَنْهُ النَّاسُ".
