"عن عمر أنه كتب إلى أبى موسى: أما بعدُ، فتفقهوا في السُّنة، وتفَقَّهوا في العرَبِيَّةِ، وأعْرِبوا القرآن فإِنَّه عربى وتَمعْدَدُوا؛ فإنكم مَعْدِيُّونَ".
