"عَنْ عَمْرو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ عُمَرَ لَمَّا طُعِنَ، عَلَيْه ملحَفَةٌ صَفْرَاءُ قَدْ وَضَعَهَا عَلَى جُرْحِهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّه قَدَرًا مَقْدُورًا".
