السيوطي:٢-١٨٣٤b –

"عَن السائب بن يزيد قالَ: ربما تَعَشَّيْتُ عندَ عمر بن الخطاب فيأكلُ الخبزَ واللحمَ، ثم يمسحُ بيدِهِ على قدميهِ، ثم يقول: هذا مِنْدِيلُ عمرَ وآلِ عمر".
