"عن أَبى عونٍ محمد بن عبيد اللَّه الثقفى قال: وَضَع عمرُ بن الخطاب الجزيةَ على رُءوسِ الرجالِ: على الغنى ثمانيةٌ وأربعونَ دِرْهَمًا، وعلى الوسطاء أربعةً وعشرينَ، وعلى الفقيرِ اثْنى عَشَرَ دِرْهَمًا".
