ابن قانع عن خالد بن معدان عن أبيه عن جده، قال الحافظ ابن حجر في لسان الميزان: هذا خبر منكر، وإسناده مركب، ولا يعرف لخالد بن معدان رواية عن أبيه، ولا لأبيه، ولا جده ذكر في شيء من كتب الرواة
