"مَا تَحتَ أَدِيم السَّمَاءٍ خَلْقٌ شَرُّ مِنْ بَرْبَرٍ (*)، وَلأَنْ أَتَصَدَّقَ بِعَلَاقَةِ سوْط في سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَعْتِقَ مائةَ رقَبَةٍ مِن بَرْبَر".
