The Prophet ﷺ led a group of his companions in praying two rak'ahs, then he said the taslim, then he led some others in praying two rak'ahs, then he said the taslim. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1552)  

الكبرى للنسائي:١٩٥٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «صَلَّى بِطَائِفَةٍ مِنْ أصْحَابِهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِأُخْرَى أَيْضًا رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ»
