Etiquettes of going to the masjid that erases sins and raises ranks

muslim:251a – Yaḥyá b. Ayyūb And Qutaybah And Ibn Ḥujr > Ismāʿīl b. Jaʿfar > Ibn Ayyūb > Ismāʿīl > al-ʿAlāʾ from his father > Abū Hurayrah

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Shall I not direct you to that by which Allah erases sins and raises ranks?” They said: “Yes, O Messenger of Allah.” He said: “(1) Performing ablution thoroughly despite hardships, (2) taking many steps to the mosques, and (3) waiting for the next prayer after the prayer; that is the ribat (steadfast vigilance).”

مسلم:٢٥١a – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ وَقُتَيْبَةُ وَابْنُ حُجْرٍ جَمِيعًا عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ ابْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنِي الْعَلاَءُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

[Machine] "On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , should I not guide you to that by which Allah raises the ranks and expiates sins? The abundance of sins and their forgiveness come through frequenting the mosques, waiting for the prayer after the prayer, and performing ablution even when it is disliked."

الطبراني:٢١٠٦٠ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ثنا أَبُو الْأَسْوَدِ النَّضْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْقُرَشِيِّ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ أَنَّ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتَ قَيْسِ بْنِ قَهْدٍ حَدَّثَتْهُ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِكَفَّارَاتِ الْخَطَايَا؟ قَالُوا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ عِنْدَ الْمَكَارِهِ وَكَثْرَةُ الْخُطَا إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ»

"Shall I not tell you of that by means of which Allah erases sins and raises (people) in status? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Should I not suggest to you that by which Allah obliterates the sins and elevates the ranks (of a man). They (the hearers) said: Yes, Messenger of Allah. He said: Performing the ablution thoroughly despite odds, tranverside of more paces towards the mosque, and waiting for the next prayer after observing a prayer, and that is mindfulness.
