The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Should I not suggest to you that by which Allah obliterates the sins and elevates the ranks (of a man). They (the hearers) said: Yes, Messenger of Allah. He said: Performing the ablution thoroughly despite odds, tranverside of more paces towards the mosque, and waiting for the next prayer after observing a prayer, and that is mindfulness.  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَلاَ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَا يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِهِ الْخَطَايَا وَيَرْفَعُ بِهِ الدَّرَجَاتِ قَالُوا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ عَلَى الْمَكَارِهِ وَكَثْرَةُ الْخُطَا إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلاَةِ فَذَلِكُمُ الرِّبَاطُ  

"Shall I not tell you of that by means of which Allah erases sins and raises (people) in status? Doing Wudu' properly [1] even when it is inconvenient, taking a lot of steps to the Masjid, and waiting for one Salah after another. That is the Ribat for you, that is the Ribat for you, that is the Ribat for you." [1] Isbagh Al-Wudu'  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَلاَ أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِمَا يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِهِ الْخَطَايَا وَيَرْفَعُ بِهِ الدَّرَجَاتِ إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ عَلَى الْمَكَارِهِ وَكَثْرَةُ الْخُطَا إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلاَةِ فَذَلِكُمُ الرِّبَاطُ فَذَلِكُمُ الرِّبَاطُ فَذَلِكُمُ الرِّبَاطُ  

Messenger of Allah said: "Shall I tell you that for which Allah will wipe out your sins, and raise your ranks?" They said, "Of course Messenger of Allah!" He said: "Performing Wudu well in difficulty, and taking many steps to the Masajid, and waiting for Salat after Salat, That is the Ribat."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَلاَ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَا يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِهِ الْخَطَايَا وَيَرْفَعُ بِهِ الدَّرَجَاتِ قَالُوا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ عَلَى الْمَكَارِهِ وَكَثْرَةُ الْخُطَا إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلاَةِ فَذَلِكُمُ الرِّبَاطُ  

He heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Shall I not tell you of something by means of which Allah expiates for sins and increases good deeds?' They said: 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Performing ablution properly despite difficulties, increasing the number of steps one takes towards the mosque and waiting for the next prayer after prayer.'  

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ أَلاَ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَا يُكَفِّرُ اللَّهُ بِهِ الْخَطَايَا وَيَزِيدُ بِهِ فِي الْحَسَنَاتِ قَالُوا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ عِنْدَ الْمَكَارِهِ وَكَثْرَةُ الْخُطَى إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلاَةِ  

The Messenger of Allah say: "Shall I not tell you of something by means of which Allah expiates for sins and increases good deeds?" They said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." the complete and correct performance of wudu in adverse conditions, a great number of steps towards the mosque,and waiting after one prayer for the next prayer. That is the firm hold, that is the firm hold, that is the firm hold."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَلاَ أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِمَا يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِهِ الْخَطَايَا وَيَرْفَعُ بِهِ الدَّرَجَاتِ إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ عِنْدَ الْمَكَارِهِ وَكَثْرَةُ الْخُطَا إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلاَةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلاَةِ فَذَلِكُمُ الرِّبَاطُ فَذَلِكُمُ الرِّبَاطُ فَذَلِكُمُ الرِّبَاطُ  

[Machine] "On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , should I not guide you to that by which Allah raises the ranks and expiates sins? The abundance of sins and their forgiveness come through frequenting the mosques, waiting for the prayer after the prayer, and performing ablution even when it is disliked."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَلَا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَا يَرْفَعُ اللهُ بِهِ الدَّرَجَاتِ وَيُكَفِّرُ بِهِ الْخَطَايَا؟ كَثْرَةُ الْخُطَا إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ عَلَى الْمَكَارِهِ  

The Messenger of Allah say: "Shall I not tell you of something by means of which Allah expiates for sins and increases good deeds?" They said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Perform ablution properly despite difficulties, increasing the number of steps one takes towards the mosque and waiting for the next prayer after prayer.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 427)   

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَلَا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَا يَرْفَعُ اللهُ بِهِ الدَّرَجَاتِ وَيُكَفِّرُ بِهِ الْخَطَايَا؟ إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ فِي الْمَكَارِهِ وَكَثْرَةُ الْخُطَا إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ  

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , "Shall I not guide you to what Allah raises people's ranks and forgives sins through it? It is frequenting the mosques, waiting for prayer after prayer, and performing ablution despite being reluctant."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَلَا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَا يَرْفَعُ اللهُ بِهِ الدَّرَجَاتِ وَيَمْحُو بِهِ الْخَطَايَا؟ كَثْرَةُ الْخُطَى إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ عَلَى الْمَكَارِهِ  

"Shall I not tell you of that by means of which Allah erases sins and raises (people) in status? Messenger of Allah said: "Shall I tell you that for which Allah will wipe out your sins, and raise your ranks?" They said, "Of course Messenger of Allah!" قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَلَا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَا يُكَفِّرُ اللهُ بِهِ الْخَطَايَا وَيَرْفَعُ بِهِ الدَّرَجَاتِ؟ الْخُطَى إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَإِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ عِنْدَ الْمَكَارِهِ وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ فَذَلِكَ الرِّبَاطُ

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِمَا يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِهِ الْخَطَايَا وَيَرْفَعُ بِهِ الدَّرَجَاتِ؟ إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءُ عَلَى الْمَكَارِهِ وَكَثْرَةُ الْخُطَا إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ فَذَلِكُمُ الرِّبَاطُ فَذَلِكُمُ الرِّبَاطُ فَذَلِكُمُ الرِّبَاطُ»  

Messenger of Allah said: "Shall I tell you that for which Allah will wipe out your sins, and raise your ranks?" They said, "Of course Messenger of Allah!" قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَلَا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَا يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِهِ الْخَطَايَا وَيُكَفَّرُ بِهِ الذُّنُوبَ؟ » قَالُوا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ «إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ عَلَى الْمَكْرُوهَاتِ وَكَثْرَةُ الْخُطَا إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ فَذَلِكَ الرِّبَاطُ»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Shall I not inform you of the expiations for sins?" They said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Performing ablution when it is disliked, frequently making mistakes but going to the mosques, and waiting for the next prayer after prayer."  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِكَفَّارَاتِ الْخَطَايَا؟ قَالُوا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ «إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ عِنْدَ الْمَكَارِهِ وَكَثْرَةُ الْخُطَا إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ»  

"Shall I not tell you of that by means of which Allah erases sins and raises (people) in status? "أَلا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَا يُكفرُ اللَّهُ بهِ الخطايا ويَزيدُ بِهِ في الحسَناتِ؟ إِسْباغ الوضوءِ علَى المَكْرُوهَاتِ، وكثْرَةُ الخُطَا إِلى المَسَاجِدِ، وانْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ".  

"ألَا أُنبِّئكم بمكفِّرات الخطايا؟ إِسباغ الوضوء على المكاره، وكثرة الخُطا إِلى المساجد، وانتظارُ الصَّلاةِ بعد الصَّلاة، فذلكم الرِّباط".  

"أَلا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِمَا يَرْفَعُ اللَّهُ بِهِ الدَّرَجَاتِ وَيَمْحُو بِهِ الخَطَايَا؟ إِسْبَاغُ الوُضُوءِ علَى المَكَارِهِ، وَكثْرَةُ الخُطَا إِلى المَسَاجِد، وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ" .  

"أَلا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَا يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بهِ الخطَايا ويُكَفِّرُ بهِ الذُّنُوب؟ إِسبَاغُ الوُضُوءِ عَلَى المكرُوهَاتِ، وكَثْرَةُ الخُطَا إِلى المَسَاجِد، وانتظَارُ الصَّلاة بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ فذلِكُم الرِّبَاطُ".  

"أَلا أدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَا يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بهِ الخَطَايَا، وَيَرْفَعُ بهِ الدَّرَجَاتِ؟ إِسْبَاغُ الوُضُوءِ عَلَى المكَارِه، وَكثْرَةُ الخُطَا إِلى المَسَاجد، وانْتِظَارُ الصَلَاة بَعْدَ الصَّلَاة، فذَلِكُم الرِّبَاطُ، فَذَلِكُم الرِّبَاطُ ".
