The Prophet performed ablution using (the water in) a vessel made of brass.  

ابن ماجة:٤٧٣حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ فِي تَوْرٍ
