ذِكْرُ الْأَمْرِ بِتَقْرِينِ الْعَفْوِ إِلَى الْعَافِيَةِ عِنْدَ سُؤَالِهِ اللَّهَ جَلَّ وَعَلَا لِمَنْ سَأَلَهَا

ibnhibban:951al-Faḍl b. al-Ḥubāb al-Jumaḥī > Mūsá b. Ismāʿīl > Ḥammād b. Salamah > Abū Jahḍam Mūsá b. Sālim > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAbbās

[Machine] He said, "O Messenger of Allah, what do I ask Allah for?" He said, "Ask Allah for forgiveness and well-being." Then he said, "What do I ask Allah for?" He said, "Ask Allah for forgiveness and well-being."  

ابن حبّان:٩٥١أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَهْضَمٍ مُوسَى بْنُ سَالِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ؟ قَالَ «سَلِ اللَّهَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ» ثُمَّ قَالَ مَا أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ؟ قَالَ «سَلِ اللَّهَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ»
