ذِكْرُ الْعَلَامَةِ الَّتِي بِهَا كَانَ يُعْلَمُ اهْتِمَامُ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الْأَشْيَاءِ

ibnhibban:6439Aḥmad b. al-Ḥasan b. ʿAbd al-Jabbār > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Ṣāliḥ al-Azdī > ʿAlī b. Mushir > Muḥammad b. ʿAmr from his father from his grandfather > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] That the Prophet, ﷺ , whenever something troubled him, he would hold onto his beard like this and Ibn Mus'hir would grab onto his beard.  

ابن حبّان:٦٤٣٩أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا هَمَّهُ شَيْءٌ أَخَذَ بِلِحْيَتِهِ هَكَذَا وَقَبَضَ ابْنُ مُسْهِرٍ عَلَى لِحْيَتِهِ»
