ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ هَذِهِ اللَّفْظَةَ مِثْلُ بَيْضَةِ النَّعَامَةِ وَهِمَ فِيهِ إِسْرَائِيلُ إِنَّمَا هُوَ مِثْلُ بَيْضَةِ الْحَمَامَةِ

ibnhibban:6298 – Sulaymān b. al-Ḥasan al-ʿAṭṭār > ʿUbaydullāh b. Muʿādh al-ʿAnbarī from my father > Shuʿbah > Simāk > Jābir b. Samurah

[Machine] "I looked at the ring that was on the Prophet's ﷺ finger and it appeared as if it was the size of a pigeon's egg."  

ابن حبّان:٦٢٩٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْعَطَّارُ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ

«نَظَرْتُ إِلَى الْخَاتَمِ الَّذِي عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ كَأَنَّهُ بَيْضَةُ حَمَامَةٍ»
