ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَمَّا كَانَ بَيْنَ آدَمَ وَنُوحٍ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِنَ الْقُرُونِ

[Machine] A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah, was Adam a prophet?" He replied, "Yes, he was spoken to by Allah." The man asked, "So, how many generations were there between him and Noah?" He replied, "Ten generations."  

ابن حبّان:٦١٩٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ زَنْجُوَيْهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو تَوْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ سَلَّامٍ عَنْ أَخِيهِ زَيْدِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَلَّامٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنَبِيٌّ كَانَ آدَمُ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ مُكَلَّمٌ» قَالَ فَكَمْ كَانَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ نُوحٍ؟ قَالَ «عَشَرَةُ قُرُونٍ»
