The Prophet ﷺ said, "None should say that I am better than Yunus bin Matta." (Using translation from Bukhārī 3416)
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Do not praise me as the Christians praised 'Eesa ibn Maryam عليه السلام. I am no more than a slave, so say: His slave and His Messenger.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 164)
[Machine] "To the Prophet, ﷺ , our best and the son of our best, and to our master and the son of our master. The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, 'O people, speak with your words and do not let Satan provoke you. I am the servant of Allah and His Messenger.'"
The son of the uncle of your Prophet ﷺ, i. e. Ibn Abbas, reported Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: It is not meet for a servant that he should say: I am better than Yunus b. Matta (and this Matta) is the name of his father. (Using translation from Muslim 2377)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah chose Kinanah from the offspring of Isma'il, and He chose Quraysh from Kinanah, and He chose Banu Hashim from Quraysh, and He chose me from Banu Hashim. So I am the leader of the children of Adam, not out of pride, and I am the first for whom the earth will split open, and I am the first intercessor and the first to be granted intercession."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No prophet was believed in as I have been believed in. Indeed, among the prophets, there was none but a single man from his nation believed in him."
"Abdullah bin Umar came to me when I had stopped beneath a large tree on the way to Makkah. He said: 'Why did you stop beneath this tree?' I said: 'Because of its shade.' Abdullah said: 'The Messenger of Allah said: If you are between the two mountains of Mina - and he pointed with his hand toward the east - there is a valley there called As-Surrabah according to the narration of Al-Harith: Called As-Surar - in which there is large tree beneath which seventy prophets were born." (Daif) (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2995)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Those who came before you were destroyed due to their excessive questioning and disagreement with their prophets. Do not ask me about anything except that I inform you about it." So, Abdullah bin Hudhafah bin Qays As-Sahmi stood up and asked, "Who is my father, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "Your father is Hudhafah." He then returned to his mother and she said to him, "What compelled you to do this? We were people of ignorance and engaged in evil actions." He said, "I would not have asked until I knew who my father was." And there was some joking in it.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The Jews are the ones who have earned Allah's anger, and the Christians are the ones who have gone astray."
The Prophet ﷺ said: The Jews were split up into seventy-one or seventy-two sects; and the Christians were split up into seventy one or seventy-two sects; and my community will be split up into seventy-three sects. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4596)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Beware of oppression, for verily oppression is darkness on the Day of Judgment. And beware of indecency, for verily Allah does not love indecent and immoral actions. And beware of stinginess, for stinginess has led the nations before you to shed blood, sever ties, and make permissible what is forbidden."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Israelites were governed by prophets. Whenever a prophet died, another prophet succeeded him. There will be no prophet after me." They asked, "So what will happen after you?" He replied, "There will be leaders, and there will be many of them." They asked, "What do you command us, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Fulfill your allegiance to the first leader, and then the first, and give them what is their right, for indeed Allah will ask them about what is yours."
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to Najran and said to me, 'O people of Najran, do you not recite this verse: "O sister of Harun, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste" and you are already aware of what happened between Musa and Isa?' So, I did not know how to respond to them until I arrived in Madinah to meet the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . I mentioned it to him, and he said to me, 'Why did you not inform them that they were called by the names of prophets and righteous people before them?'"
This is what Abu Huraira reported to us from Messenger of Allah ﷺ and in this connection he narrated some of the ahadith and Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: It was said to people of Israel: Enter this land saying Hitta (Remove Thou from us the burden of our sins), whereupon We would forgive you your sins, but they twisted (this statement) and entered the gate dragging upon their breech and said: The" grain in the ear." (Using translation from Muslim 3015)

‘Umar was told and on one occasion he said: Umar heard that Samurah was selling alcohol and he said: May Allah destroy Samurah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿMay Allah curse the Jews, He forbade animal fat to them, so they rendered it and sold it.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 170)

When he was sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and a Jew was also with him, a funeral passed by him. He (the Jew) asked (Him): Muhammad, does this funeral speak? The Prophet ﷺ said: Allah has more knowledge. The Jew said: It speaks. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whatever the people of the Book tell you, do not verify them, nor falsify them, but say: We believe in Allah and His Apostle. If it is false, do not confirm it, and if it is right, do not falsify it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3644)

He said: 'Except that you should uphold ties of kinship that exist between me and you.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3251)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The strength of two men from outside Quraysh is equivalent to one man from Quraysh."
The Caliphate will remain among the Quraish even if only two persons are left (on the earth), (Using translation from Muslim 1820)
I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: The women of the Quraish are good amongst the womenfolk. They ride camels and show affection to their children and zealously guard the wealth of their husbands. Abu Huraira said at the end of this narration that Mary, the daughter of Imran, never rode the camel. (Using translation from Muslim 2527c)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ gave a sermon to Umm Hani' bint Abi Talib, and she said, "I have grown old and I have children." The Prophet ﷺ said, "The best women who rode camels are the women of the Quraysh. They used to be the most affectionate towards their children when they were young and the most caring towards their husbands. No woman, like Maryam bint 'Imran, has ever ridden a camel."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever humiliates the Quraysh, Allah will humiliate him."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Abu Talib when death came to him, "Say: There is no god but Allah, and I will intercede for you with it on the Day of Resurrection." Abu Talib said, "O son of my brother, if it were not for fear of the Quraysh's reproach, I would have opened my eyes to it." Then the verse was revealed: "Indeed, you do not guide whom you like."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِأَبِي طَالِبٍ حِينَ حَضَرَهُ الْمَوْتُ «قُلْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ أَشْفَعْ لَكَ بِهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ» قَالَ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي لَوْلَا أَنْ تُعَيِّرَنِيَ قُرَيْشٌ لَأَقْرَرْتُ عَيْنَيْكَ بِهَا فَنَزَلَتْ {إِنَّكَ لَا تَهْدِي مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ}
[Machine] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, and his uncle Abu Talib was mentioned in his presence, so he said, "Perhaps my intercession will reach him, so he will be placed in the shallowest part of Hellfire, where his brain will boil from it."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "I have never desired anything ugly that the people of the pre-Islamic period desired except on two occasions, and both times Allah protected me from it."
“Count for me all those who have uttered (the word of) Islam.” We said: “O Messenger of Allah, do you fear for us when we number between six and seven hundred?” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “You do not know, perhaps you will be tested.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4029)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed in Mecca for seven years, following the people to their homes in Okaz, Majannah, and the seasons in Mina. He would say, "Who will provide shelter and support me until I convey the messages of my Lord?" Even the people from Yemen or Egypt would come to him, and their clans would warn them, saying, "Beware of the boy from Quraysh who may deceive you." He would walk among them as they pointed at him with their fingers. Then Allah sent support from Yathrib and we provided him refuge and believed in him. The man would leave us, and upon returning to his people he would deliver Islam to them, and they would embrace it until there was no house left in the houses of the Ansar without some Muslims living in it, openly practicing Islam. Then we gathered and said, "How long will we let the Prophet ﷺ be expelled and live in fear in the mountains of Mecca?" So seventy of us set out until we reached him during the pilgrimage season, and we pledged allegiance to him at Al-Aqaba. We said, "O Messenger of Allah, for what reason should we pledge allegiance to you?" He said, "Pledge allegiance to me to listen and obey in times of energy or laziness, hardship or ease, to spend in times of difficulty or abundance, to enjoy what is good and forbid what is evil, and to not care about the blame of the blamers, and to support and protect me just as you would protect yourselves, your wives, and your children, and Paradise will be yours." So we stood up and pledged allegiance to him. Sa'd ibn Zurarah, the youngest among us, held his hand and said, "O people of Yathrib, we have not even struck the backs of camels unless we knew that he is the Messenger of Allah, and that his expulsion today is a dispute for all the Arabs, and the killing of your best men, and the swords are about to reach you. So either you endure that and your reward will be with Allah, or you fear for yourselves and show your weakness. Clarify your choice, for it is easier for you." They said, "Remove this doubt, for by Allah, we will never abandon this pledge." So we pledged allegiance to him, and he placed conditions for us to be given Paradise in return.
