[Machine] "The Fitna (strife) erupted, and the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ were ten thousand, out of whom only forty were not afraid. Two hundred and forty-four men stood with Ali, among them Abu Ayyub, Sahl ibn Hunayf, and Ammar ibn Yasir, who were all from the people of Badr."  

الحاكم:٨٣٥٨أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ حَرَسَهَا اللَّهُ تَعَالَى ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ

«ثَارَتِ الْفِتْنَةُ وَأَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَشَرَةُ آلَافٍ لَمْ يَخْفَ فِيهَا مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَرْبَعُونَ رَجُلًا وَقَفَ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ مِائَتَانِ وَبِضْعَةٌ وَأَرْبَعُونَ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ فِيهِمْ أَبُو أَيُّوبَ وَسَهْلُ بْنُ حُنَيْفٍ وَعَمَّارُ بْنُ يَاسِرٍ»
