[Machine] "Abu Ubaidah Mammar ibn al-Muthanna was one of the close companions of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. He was married to Rayhana bint Zaid ibn Sam'un, from the Banu Nadir tribe. Some say she was from the Banu Qurayza tribe. She used to take care of date palms and the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, would sometimes rest under them. Abu Ubaidah mentioned that he, along with other women like Maria al-Qibtiyya, Rayhana, and Jumayla, was captured in the Battle of Hunayn in the month of Shawwal, in the fourth year after Hijrah. Abu Ubaidah also mentioned that he had another precious slave girl who was gifted to him by Zainab bint Jahsh. He had divorced her due to a dispute with Safiyyah bint Huyayy during the months of Dhul-Hijjah and Muharram. When the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, passed away in the month of Rabi' al-Awwal, he was pleased with Zainab and he went to her. She said to him, "I don't know what to say to you," so he stayed quiet and did not respond."
