سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ مَعِينٍ يَقُولُ «مَعْقِلُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ شَهِدَ الْفَتْحَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَقُتِلَ يَوْمَ الْحَرَّةِ سَنَةَ ثَلَاثٍ وَسِتِّينَ»
