20. Book of Heart Softners (2/3)
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Who-ever loves to meet Allah, Allah (too) loves to meet him and who-ever hates to meet Allah, Allah (too) hates to meet him".
ʿAisha, or some of the wives of the Prophet ﷺ said, "But we dislike death." He said: It is not like this, but it is meant that when the time of the death of a believer approaches, he receives the good news of Allah's pleasure with him and His blessings upon him, and so at that time nothing is dearer to him than what is in front of him. He therefore loves the meeting with Allah, and Allah (too) loves the meeting with him. But when the time of the death of a disbeliever approaches, he receives the evil news of Allah's torment and His Requital, whereupon nothing is more hateful to him than what is before him. Therefore, he hates the meeting with Allah, and Allah too, hates the meeting with him." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6507)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If Allah were to withhold rain from my nation for ten years and then send it down, a group from my nation would become disbelievers. He said, "Yes, for no Muslim is afflicted with any harm, whether it be an illness or something else, except that his sins are expiated as leaves fall from a tree."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ came one day while people could see joy on his face. It was said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, we can see joy on your face that we have never seen before." He replied, "Yes, indeed. An angel came to me and said, 'O Muhammad, your Lord says, "Does it please you that no one from your Ummah prays upon you except that I pray upon them tenfold, and no one salutes you except that I salute them tenfold?"' I said, 'Yes, indeed.'"

He said, "I am amazed at the affair of a believer; all of his matters are good for him. If something good befalls him, he thanks Allah, which is good for him. And if something bad befalls him, he observes patience, which is also good for him. This is not the case for any person except a believer."

The affliction will continue for a servant until he walks on the earth with no sin to his account."

[Machine] About the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , in what he narrates from his Lord, the Most High, he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, your Lord is merciful. Whoever intends to perform a good deed but does not do it, a good deed will be recorded for him. And if he performs it, then ten to seven hundred times its reward will be recorded for him, and even more. And whoever intends to commit an evil deed but does not do it, a good deed will be recorded for him. And if he commits it, a single evil deed will be recorded for him, or it may be erased. And no one is destroyed except by the will of Allah."
