Messenger of Allah ﷺ, said, "None will be called to account on the Day of Resurrection, but will be ruined." I said "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! Hasn't Allah said: 'Then as for him who will be given his record in his right hand, he surely will receive an easy reckoning? (84.7-8) -- Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "That (Verse) means only the presentation of the accounts, but anybody whose account (record) is questioned on the Day of Resurrection, will surely be punished."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ يُحَاسَبُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلاَّ هَلَكَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَيْسَ قَدْ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى {فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ * فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا} فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّمَا ذَلِكِ الْعَرْضُ وَلَيْسَ أَحَدٌ يُنَاقَشُ الْحِسَابَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلاَّ عُذِّبَ

He who is taken to account on the Day of Resurrection is in fact put to torment. I said: Has Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, not said this: 'He will be made subject to an easy reckoning" (Ixxxiv. 8)? Thereupon he said: (What it implies) is not the actual reckoning, but only the presentation of one's deeds to Him. He who is thoroughly examined in reckoning is put to torment.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ حُوسِبَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عُذِّبَ فَقُلْتُ أَلَيْسَ قَدْ قَالَ اللَّهُ ﷻ { فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا} فَقَالَ لَيْسَ ذَاكِ الْحِسَابُ إِنَّمَا ذَاكِ الْعَرْضُ مَنْ نُوقِشَ الْحِسَابَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عُذِّبَ

Everyone who is reckoned thoroughly is undone. I said: Messenger of Allah, has Allah not called (reckoning) as easy reckoning? Thereupon he said.. It implies only presenta- tion of (one's deeds to Him), but if one is thoroughly examined in reckoning, he in fact is undone.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ يُحَاسَبُ إِلاَّ هَلَكَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ يَقُولُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا قَالَ ذَاكِ الْعَرْضُ وَلَكِنْ مَنْ نُوقِشَ الْحِسَابَ هَلَكَ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'Whoever his account is questioned about , he shall be ruined.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Indeed Allah [Most High] has said: Then as for him who shall be given his Record in his right hand. He surely will receive an easy reckoning.' Then he said: 'That is the presentation.'"

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ نُوقِشَ الْحِسَابَ هَلَكَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى يَقُولَُ (فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ * فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا ) قَالَ ذَلِكَ الْعَرْضُ

“I heard that the Messenger of Allah saying: ‘Whoever is interrogated during the reckoning, then he will ruined.’ I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! Allah, Blessed is He and Most High, said: ‘As for him who will be given his record in his right hand…” up to His saying: ‘…an easy reckoning.’ He said: ‘That is (only) the presentation.’”

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ نُوقِشَ الْحِسَابَ هَلَكَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُولَُ (فأمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ ) إِلَى قَوْلِهِ ( خبِيرًا ) قَالَ ذَلِكَ الْعَرْضُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever is reckoned on that Day, will be punished." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, Allah says: 'He will be accounted with an easy reckoning.'" [Al-Inshiqaaq 8] He said: "That is the presentation of the records, whoever is presented with his reckoning on that Day will be punished."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ حُوسِبَ يَوْمَئِذٍ عُذِّبَ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ يَقُولُ اللهُ ﷻ {يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا} [الانشقاق 8] قَالَ ذَاكَ الْعَرْضُ مَنْ نُوقِشَ الْحِسَابَ يَوْمَئِذٍ عُذِّبَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is subjected to a detailed account will not be forgiven." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what about the saying of Allah, 'He will be taken to account with an easy account'?" He said, "That refers to a summary account."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ نُوقِشَ الْحِسَابَ لَمْ يُغْفَرْ لَهُ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَأَيْنَ قَوْلُهُ {يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا} [الانشقاق 8] قَالَ ذَاكَ الْعَرْضُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "Whoever is held accountable will be punished." I asked, "What do you think about His saying, 'He will be held to account with an easy account'?" He replied, "That is just the presentation (of deeds), but whoever is scrutinized in his account will be punished."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ حُوسِبَ عُذِّبَ قَالَتْ فَقُلْتُ أَرَأَيْتَ قَوْلَهُ ﷻ {يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا} [الانشقاق 8] ؟ قَالَ إِنَّمَا ذَاكُمُ الْعَرْضُ وَلَكِنْ مَنْ نُوقِشَ الْحِسَابَ عُذِّبَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is held accountable will be destroyed." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, does not Allah say, 'So he will be questioned with an easy accounting'?" He said, "O Aisha, that is referring to the presentation. Whoever is questioned in detail will indeed be destroyed."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ حُوسِبَ هَلَكَ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلَيْسَ يَقُولُ اللهُ ﷻ {فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا} [الانشقاق 8] ؟ قَالَ يَا عَائِشَةُ ذَاكَ الْعَرْضُ مَنْ نُوقِشَ الْحِسَابَ فَقَدْ هَلَكَ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever is held accountable will be punished." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what about the one who is given his record in his right hand? He will be taken account of lightly." He said, "That is a different matter. No one will be taken account of on the Day of Judgment except that he will be doomed."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ حُوسِبَ عُذِّبَ» قَالَتْ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ {فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا} قَالَ «ذَاكَ الْعَرْضُ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ يُحَاسَبُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلَّا هَلَكَ»

"I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'Whoever his account is questioned about , he shall be ruined.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Indeed Allah [Most High] has said: Then as for him who shall be given his Record in his right hand. He surely will receive an easy reckoning.' Then he said: 'That is the presentation.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2426)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ نُوقِشَ الْحِسَابَ هَلَكَ» فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُولُ {فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا} قَالَ «ذَاكَ الْعَرْضُ»

[AI] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, as for the one who is given his book in his right hand, he will be called to account with an easy reckoning." He said, "That is the favor (of Allah) upon whomever He wills. No one will be called to account on the Day of Resurrection except the one who perishes."

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ {فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا} قَالَ «ذَاكَ الْعَرْضُ لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ يُحَاسَبُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلَّا هَلَكَ»

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ من نوقش الحساب عذب قالت قلت يا رسول الله أليس الله تبارك وتعالى يقول { فسوف يحاسب حسابا يسيرا} قال ذاك العرض ومن نوقش الحساب عذب وهذا الحديث قد رواه جماعة عن ابن أبي مليكة عن عائشة ؓ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, and Yusuf bin 'Isa informed us and Al-Fadl bin Musa informed us and Uthman bin Al-Aswad informed us from Ibn Abi Mulaykah that Aisha said, "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Whoever is held accountable will be ruined.' I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, Allah says, "As for whoever is given his record in his right hand, he will be judged with an easy account." (Quran 84:7)' He said, 'That is the easy reckoning.'"

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَأَخْبَرَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عِيسَى أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ نُوقِشَ الْحِسَابَ هَلَكَ» قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَإِنَّ اللهَ يَقُولُ مَنْ وَقَالَ يُوسُفُ {فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا} [الانشقاق 8] قَالَ «ذَلِكَ الْعَرْضُ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ حُوسِبَ يَوْمَئِذٍ عُذِّبَ» قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا؟ قَالَ «ذَلِكَ الْعَرْضُ وَمَنْ نُوقِشَ الْحِسَابَ يَهْلِكُ»

"مَنْ حُوسِبَ يَوْمَ القيَامَة عُذِّبَ، قَالتْ عَائِشَةُ: أَوَ لَيسَ يَقُولُ اللهُ ﷻ: {فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا} قال: لَيسَ ذَلِكَ بِالحِسَابِ، إِنَّمَا ذَلِكَ العَرْضُ وَلَكِنْ مَنْ نُوقِشَ الحِسَابَ يَهْلِكُ".
