ahmad:24958 – ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Bakkār / Ibn ʿAbdullāh b. Wahbal-Ṣanʿānī Fadhakar Ḥadīth > Ibn Abū Mulaykah > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "Whoever is held accountable will be punished." I asked, "What do you think about His saying, 'He will be held to account with an easy account'?" He replied, "That is just the presentation (of deeds), but whoever is scrutinized in his account will be punished."  

أحمد:٢٤٩٥٨ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا بَكَّارٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ الصَّنْعَانِيَّ فَذَكَرَ حَدِيثًا قَالَ وَسَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ حُوسِبَ عُذِّبَ قَالَتْ فَقُلْتُ أَرَأَيْتَ قَوْلَهُ ﷻ {يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا} [الانشقاق 8] ؟ قَالَ إِنَّمَا ذَاكُمُ الْعَرْضُ وَلَكِنْ مَنْ نُوقِشَ الْحِسَابَ عُذِّبَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is held accountable will be destroyed." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, does not Allah say, 'So he will be questioned with an easy accounting'?" He said, "O Aisha, that is referring to the presentation. Whoever is questioned in detail will indeed be destroyed."  

أحمد:٢٥٧٠٧ – قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ وَرْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ حُوسِبَ هَلَكَ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلَيْسَ يَقُولُ اللهُ ﷻ {فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا} [الانشقاق 8] ؟ قَالَ يَا عَائِشَةُ ذَاكَ الْعَرْضُ مَنْ نُوقِشَ الْحِسَابَ فَقَدْ هَلَكَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever is reckoned on that Day, will be punished." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, Allah says: 'He will be accounted with an easy reckoning.'" [Al-Inshiqaaq 8] He said: "That is the presentation of the records, whoever is presented with his reckoning on that Day will be punished."  

أحمد:٢٤٦٠٥ – حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ حُوسِبَ يَوْمَئِذٍ عُذِّبَ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ يَقُولُ اللهُ ﷻ {يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا} [الانشقاق 8] قَالَ ذَاكَ الْعَرْضُ مَنْ نُوقِشَ الْحِسَابَ يَوْمَئِذٍ عُذِّبَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is subjected to a detailed account will not be forgiven." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what about the saying of Allah, 'He will be taken to account with an easy account'?" He said, "That refers to a summary account."  

أحمد:٢٤٧٦٩ – حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ نُوقِشَ الْحِسَابَ لَمْ يُغْفَرْ لَهُ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَأَيْنَ قَوْلُهُ {يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا} [الانشقاق 8] قَالَ ذَاكَ الْعَرْضُ  

ahmad:24200 – Ismāʿīl > Ayyūb > ʿAbdullāh b. Abū Mulaykah > ʿĀʾishah

He who is taken to account on the Day of Resurrection is in fact put to torment. I said: Has Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, not said this: 'He will be made subject to an easy reckoning" (Ixxxiv. 8)? Thereupon he said: (What it implies) is not the actual reckoning, but only the presentation of one's deeds to Him. He who is thoroughly examined in reckoning is put to torment.
