My friend (the Prophet ﷺ) advised me to do three things and I shall not leave them till I die: (1) to fast three days every month, (2) to offer the Duha prayer, and (3) to offer Witr before sleeping.

أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي بِثَلاَثٍ لاَ أَدَعُهُنَّ حَتَّى أَمُوتَ: (١) صَوْمِ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ، (٢) وَصَلاَةِ الضُّحَى، (٣) وَنَوْمٍ عَلَى وِتْرٍ.

My friend (the Prophet ﷺ ) advised me to observe three things: (1) to fast three days a month; (2) to pray two rakʿat of Duha prayer (forenoon prayer); and (3) to pray witr before sleeping.

أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي ﷺ بِثَلاَثٍ صِيَامِ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَرَكْعَتَىِ الضُّحَى وَأَنْ أُوتِرَ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَنَامَ

My friend (i.e. the Prophet) instructed me to observe three practices that I do not leave while traveling nor while resident, to pray two rakʿahs in the forenoon, to fast three days every month and not to sleep but after observing the witr.

أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي ﷺ بِثَلاَثٍ لاَ أَدَعُهُنَّ فِي سَفَرٍ وَلاَ حَضَرٍ رَكْعَتَىِ الضُّحَى وَصَوْمِ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ وَأَنْ لاَ أَنَامَ إِلاَّ عَلَى وِتْرٍ

[Machine] I whisper (mention) them (the following) every night before sleeping: fasting three days every month, washing on Fridays, and continuing until my death on odd days.

هُشَيْمٌ فَلَا أَدَعُهُنَّ حَتَّى أَمُوتَ بِالْوِتْرِ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ وَصِيَامِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَالْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ

[Machine] My friend advised me with three things: fasting three days every month, praying the odd-numbered prayers before sleeping, and taking a bath on Fridays.

أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي بِثَلَاثٍ صَوْمِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَالْوَتْرِ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ وَالْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ

[Machine] "Abu Hurairah advised me with three things, which my beloved (Prophet Muhammad ﷺ ) never let me neglect: Offering the Witr prayer before going to sleep, fasting three days of every month, and taking a bath on Fridays."

أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ثَلَاثٌ أَوْصَانِي بِهِنَّ خَلِيلِي ﷺ لَا أَدَعُهُنَّ أَبَدًا الْوَتْرُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَنَامَ وَصِيَامُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَالْغُسْلُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ

[Machine] My friend Abu Al-Qasim ﷺ advised me with three things that I never leave. They are fasting three days every month, praying Witr (an optional prayer after the Isha prayer) before sleep, and performing the ritual washing on Fridays.

أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ بِثَلَاثٍ لَا أَدَعُهُنَّ صَوْمِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَأَنْ لَا أَنَامَ إِلَّا عَلَىوِتْرٍ وَالْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ

[Machine] My friend advised me with three things; fasting three days every month, praying Witr before sleeping, and performing the Friday bath.

أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي بِثَلَاثٍ صَوْمُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَالْوِتْرُ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ وَالْغُسْلُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ

"My dearest friend advised me (to do) three things: 'To sleep after praying Witr, to fast three days each month, and to pray two rak'ahs of Fajr.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1677)

أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي بِثَلَاثٍ الْوَتْرِ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ وَصِيَامِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَرَكْعَتَيِ الضُّحَى

[Machine] My beloved Abu Al-Qasim ﷺ advised me with three things that I will never leave: performing ghusl (ritual bath) on Fridays, fasting three days every month, and praying the witr prayer before going to sleep.

أَوْصَانِي أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ خَلِيلِي بِثَلَاثٍ لَا أَدَعُهُنَّ الْغُسْلُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَصَوْمُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَالْوَتْرُ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ

"My dearest friend advised me (to do) three things: 'To sleep after praying Witr, to fast three days each month, and to pray two rak'ahs of Fajr.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1677)

أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي بِثَلَاثٍ الْوَتْرِ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ وَرَكْعَتَيِ الضُّحَى وَصَوْمِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ

"The Messenger of Allah enjoyed three things upon me: To sleep after praying Witr, to perform Ghusal on Friday, and to fast three days of each month." (Sahih). (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2405)

أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِثَلَاثٍ الْوَتْرِ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ وَصِيَامِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَالْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ

[Machine] My friend advised me of three things that I will not abandon until I die: praying the Witr prayer before I sleep, fasting three days every month, and performing two units of prayer before the Dhuha prayer.

أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي بِثَلَاثٍ لَا أَدَعُهُنَّ حَتَّى أَمُوتَ الْوِتْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَنَامَ وَصَوْمِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَمِنَ الضُّحَى رَكْعَتَيْنِ

"My dearest friend advised me (to do) three things: 'To sleep after praying Witr, to fast three days each month, and to pray two rak'ahs of Fajr.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1677)

أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ بِثَلَاثٍ «الْوِتْرُ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ وَصَلَاةُ الضُّحَى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَصَوْمُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ»

"My beloved Prophet advised me to do three things which I will never give up, if Allah wills. He advised me to pray Duha, to pray Witr before sleeping, and to fast three days of each month." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2404)

أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي ﷺ بِثَلَاثٍ لَا أَدَعُهُنَّ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ أَبَدًا أَوْصَانِي بِصَلَاةِ الضُّحَى وَبِالْوَتْرِ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ وَبِصِيَامِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ

[Machine] My friend Abu Al-Qasim ﷺ has advised me to do three things: praying the Witr prayer before sleeping, fasting three days every month, and performing the Duha prayer consisting of two units.

أَوْصَانِي خَلِيلِي أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ بِثَلَاثٍ الْوِتْرِ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ وَصِيَامِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ وَرَكْعَتَيِ الضُّحَى

"عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: أَوْصَانِى خَلِيلِى بِثَلَاثٍ: الْوِتْرِ قَبْلَ النَّوْمِ، وَصِيَامِ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ، وَالْغُسْلِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ".
