I bear witness concerning Abu Hurayrah and Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri that they both testified about the Prophet ﷺ that he said: “No people sit remembering Allah, the Exalted, except that the angels surround them, mercy envelops them, tranquility descends upon them, and Allah mentions them among those who are with Him.”

أَشْهَدُ عَلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّهُمَا شَهِدَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «لاَ يَقْعُدُ قَوْمٌ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ ﷻ إِلاَّ حَفَّتْهُمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ، وَغَشِيَتْهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ، وَنَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّكِينَةُ، وَذَكَرَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِيمَنْ عِنْدَهُ».

He bears witness, from Abu Hurairah and Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri, that they bear witness, from the Messenger of Allah, that he said: “There is no group that remembers Allah, except that the angels encompass them, mercy covers them, and tranquility descends upon them: and Allah remembers (mentions) them before those who are with Him.”

أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ عَلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّهُمَا شَهِدَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ إِلاَّ حَفَّتْ بِهِمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ وَغَشِيَتْهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ وَنَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّكِينَةُ وَذَكَرَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِيمَنْ عِنْدَهُ

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ يَشْهَدَانِ بِهِ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ مَجْلِسًا يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ فِيهِ إِلاَّ حَفَّتْهُمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ وَتَغَشَّتْهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ وَتَنَزَّلَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّكِينَةُ وَذَكَرَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِيمَنْ عِنْدَهُ

عَنِ الْأَغَرِّ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ قَالَأَشْهَدُ عَلَى أَبِي سَعِيدٍ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُمَا شَهِدَا لِي عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ عَلَيْهِمَا مَا قَعَدَ قَوْمٌ يَذْكُرُونَ اللهَ إِلَّا حَفَّتْ بِهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَتَنَزَّلَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّكِينَةُ وَتَغَشَّتْهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ وَذَكَرَهُمُ اللهُ فِيمَنْ عِنْدَهُ

أَشْهَدُ عَلَى أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُمَا شَهِدَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «مَا جَلَسَ قَوْمٌ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ إِلَّا حَفَّتْهُمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَغَشِيَتْهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ وَنَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّكِينَةُ وَذَكَرَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِيمَنْ عِنْدَهُ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no group of people who remember Allah except that the angels surround them, and mercy envelops them, and Allah mentions them in the gathering with Him."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ يَذْكُرُونَ اللهَ إِلَّا حُفَّتْ بِهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَغَشِيَتْهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ وَذَكَرَهُمُ اللهُ فِي الْمَلَأِ عِنْدَهُ»

هريرة وعلى أبي سعيد أنهما شهدا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أنه قال ما جلس قوم يذكرون الله تبارك وتعالى إلا حفتهم الملائكة وغشيتهم الرحمة وذكرهم الله تبارك وتعالى فيمن عندهوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ قَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ من غير هذا الوجهولا نعلمه يُرْوَى عن أبي سعيد إلا من هذا

"مَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ يَذْكُرُون اللهَ إِلا حَفَّتْ بهمُ الملائِكة وَغَشِيتْهُمُ الرَّحْمةُ وَنَزلتْ عَليهِمُ السَّكِينَةُ وَذكرهُم اللهُ فِيمَنْ عِنْدهُ".

"مَا جَلَسَ قَوْم مُسْلمُونَ مَجْلسًا يَذْكُرُونَ اللهَ فيه إِلَّا حَفَّتْهُمْ المَلائكَةُ، وَغَشَيَتْهم الرَّحْمَةُ وَنَزَلَتْ (*) عَلَيهِمْ السكينَةُ وَذَكَرَهُمْ اللهُ فيمَنْ عنْدَهُ".

"لا يَقْعُدُ قَوْمٌ يَذْكُرُونَ الله إِلا حَفَّتْهُمُ الْمَلائِكَةُ، وَغَشِيَتْهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ، وَنَزَلَتْ عَلَيهِمُ السَّكِينَةُ، وَذَكرَهُمُ اللهُ فِيمَنْ عنْدَهُ".
