The Prophet ﷺ allowed ʿAbdur-Rahman bin ʿAuf and Az-Zubair to wear silken shirts because they had a skin disease causing itching.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَخَّصَ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَالزُّبَيْرِ فِي قَمِيصٍ مِنْ حَرِيرٍ مِنْ حِكَّةٍ كَانَتْ بِهِمَا

As above. Narrated Anas: ʿAbdur Rahman bin ʿAuf and Az-Zubair complained to the Prophet, i.e. about the lice (that caused itching) so he allowed them to wear silken clothes. I saw them wearing such clothes in a holy battle.

أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ وَالزُّبَيْرَ شَكَوَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ يَعْنِي الْقَمْلَ فَأَرْخَصَ لَهُمَا فِي الْحَرِيرِ فَرَأَيْتُهُ عَلَيْهِمَا فِي غَزَاةٍ

The Prophet ﷺ allowed ʿAbdur-Rahman bin ʿAuf and Az-Zubair bin Al-ʿAwwam to wear silk.

رَخَّصَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَالزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ فِي حَرِيرٍ

The Prophet ﷺ allowed Az-Zubair and ʿAbdur-Rahman to wear silk because they were suffering from an itch.

رَخَّصَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِلزُّبَيْرِ وَعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ فِي لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ لِحِكَّةٍ بِهِمَا

Anas b. Malik reported to them (his companions) that Allah's Messnger ﷺ had granted concession to Abd al-Rahman b. *Anf and Zubair b. 'Awwam for the wearing of a silk shirt during the journey and because of itch which they both had or any other disease from which both of them had been suffering.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَخَّصَ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَالزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ فِي الْقُمُصِ الْحَرِيرِ فِي السَّفَرِ مِنْ حِكَّةٍ كَانَتْ بِهِمَا أَوْ وَجَعٍ كَانَ بِهِمَا

Anas reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted concession, or Zubair b. Awwam and 'Abd Al-Rahman b. Auf were granted concession, for the wearing of silk because of the itch that they both had.

رَخَّصَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَوْ رُخِّصَ لِلزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ وَعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ فِي لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ لِحِكَّةٍ كَانَتْ بِهِمَا

Anas b. Malik reported that 'Abd al-Rahman b. Auf and Zu'bair. b. 'Awwam complained to Messenger of Allah ﷺ about lice; he granted them concession to wear shirts of silk.

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ وَالزُّبَيْرَ بْنَ الْعَوَّامِ شَكَوَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْقَمْلَ فَرَخَّصَ لَهُمَا فِي قُمُصِ الْحَرِيرِ فِي غَزَاةٍ لَهُمَا

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave license to 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Awf and al-Zubair b. al-'Awwam to wear silk shirts during a journey because of an itch which they had.

رَخَّصَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَلِلزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ فِي قُمُصِ الْحَرِيرِ فِي السَّفَرِ مِنْ حِكَّةٍ كَانَتْ بِهِمَا

That 'Abdur Rahman bin 'Awf and Az-Zubair bin Al-'Awwam complained of lice to the Prophet ﷺ during a battle that they participated in. So he permitted them to wear silk shirts. He (Anas) said: "I saw them wearing them."

أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ وَالزُّبَيْرَ بْنَ الْعَوَّامِ شَكَيَا الْقَمْلَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي غَزَاةٍ لَهُمَا فَرَخَّصَ لَهُمَا فِي قُمُصِ الْحَرِيرِ قَالَ وَرَأَيْتُهُ عَلَيْهِمَا

The Messenger of Allah [SAW] granted a concession to 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf and Az-Zubair bin Al-'Awwam allowing them to wear silken shirts because of scabies that they were suffering from.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَرْخَصَ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَالزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ فِي قُمُصِ حَرِيرٍ مِنْ حِكَّةٍ كَانَتْ بِهِمَا

The Prophet [SAW] granted a concession to 'Abdur-Rahman and Az-Zubair to wear silken shirts because of scabies that they were suffering from.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَخَّصَ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَالزُّبَيْرِ فِي قُمُصِ حَرِيرٍ كَانَتْ بِهِمَا يَعْنِي لِحِكَّةٍ

It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted a concession to Zubair bin ‘Awwam and ‘Abdur-Rahman bin ‘Auf, allowing them to wear silk shirts, because of a rash they were suffering from.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَخَّصَ لِلزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ وَلِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ فِي قَمِيصَيْنِ مِنْ حَرِيرٍ مِنْ وَجَعٍ كَانَ بِهِمَا حِكَّةٍ

[AI] Zubair ibn al-Awam and Abdur Rahman ibn Auf complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about lice, so he allowed them to wear silk. I saw each of them wearing a silk shirt.

أَنَّ الزُّبَيْرَ بْنَ الْعَوَّامِ وَعَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ شَكَوَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْقَمْلَ فَرَخَّصَ لَهُمَا فِي لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ فَرَأَيْتُ عَلَى كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا قَمِيصًا مِنْ حَرِيرٍ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave license to 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Awf and al-Zubair b. al-'Awwam to wear silk shirts during a journey because of an itch which they had. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4056)

رُخِّصَ أَوْ رَخَّصَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَالزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ فِي لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ مِن حَكَّةٍ كَانَتْ بِهِمَا

[AI] "And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Give them permission.'"

وَقَالَ رَخَّصَ لَهُمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

[AI] He informed them that Zubair and Abdul-Rahman ibn Awf complained to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ about lice. So they sought permission from him to go on a military expedition, and he granted them permission. He allowed them to wear silk shirts. Bahz said, Anas said, I saw each of them wearing a silk shirt.

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ الزُّبَيْرَ وَعَبْدَ الَّرحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ شَكَوَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ الْقَمْلَ فَاسْتَأْذَنَا فِي غَزَاةٍ لَهُمَا فَرَخَّصَ لَهُمَا فِي قَمِيصِ الْحَرِيرِ قَالَ بَهْزٌ قَالَ أَنَسٌ فَرَأَيْتُ عَلَى كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا قَمِيصًا مِنْ حَرِيرٍ

رَخَّصَ لَهُمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ permitted Abdurrahman bin Auf and Zubair to engage in trade.

[AI] That 'Abdul Rahman ibn 'Awf and Az-Zubayr complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about lice, so he permitted them to wear silk shirts. Anas said, "I saw them wearing shirts made of silk."

أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ وَالزُّبَيْرَ شَكَيَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْقَمْلَ فَرَخَّصَ لَهُمَا فِي الْقَمِيصِ الْحَرِيرِ قَالَ أَنَسٌ قَدْ رَأَيْتُ عَلَيْهِمَا قَمِيصًا مِنْ حَرِيرٍ

The Prophet ﷺ allowed ʿAbdur-Rahman bin ʿAuf and Az-Zubair bin Al-ʿAwwam to wear silk. (Using translation from Bukhārī 2921)

لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَالزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ ؓ فِي الْحَرِيرِ مِنْ حِكَّةٍ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ gave permission to Abdur Rahman bin Awf and Zubayr bin Al-Awwam to wear silk garments due to a certain skin condition they had.

رَخَّصَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَالزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ فِي لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ مِنْ حِكَّةٍ كَانَتْ بِهِمَا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ allowed or granted permission to Zubayr ibn Al-Awwam and Abdur Rahman ibn Awf to wear silk due to a skin condition they had.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَخَّصَ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ فِي قَمِيصٍ مِنْ حَرِيرٍ فِي سَفَرٍ مِنْ حِكَّةٍ كَانَ يَجِدُهَا بِجِلْدِهِ وَلِلزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ allowed 'Abdul Rahman ibn 'Awf and Zubayr ibn al-'Awwam to wear silk shirts while traveling due to an itch or pain they were experiencing.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَخَّصَ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَالزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ فِي الْقُمُصِ الْحَرِيرِ فِي السَّفَرِ مِنْ حِكَّةٍ كَانَتْ بِهِمَا أَوْ وَجَعٍ كَانَ بِهِمَا

" عَنْ أَنَسٍ: أَن النَّبِىَّ ﷺ رَخَّصَ لِلزُّبيْرِ بْنِ العَوَّامٍ فِى الْحَرِيرِ، وَلِعَبْدِ الرَّحمْنِ بْنِ عَوْف لِحكَّةٍ كَانَتْ بِجُلُودِهِمَا".
