He who intends to do harm to the people of this city (that is, Medina), Allah would efface him as salt is dissolved in water.

أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ مَنْ أَرَادَ أَهْلَ هَذِهِ الْبَلْدَةِ بِسُوءٍ يَعْنِي الْمَدِينَةَ أَذَابَهُ اللَّهُ كَمَا يَذُوبُ الْمِلْحُ فِي الْمَاءِ

He who intends to do harm to the people of Medina, Allah would efface him just as water dissolves salt.

عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ نُبَيْهٍ أَخْبَرَنِي دِينَارٌ الْقَرَّاظُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ أَرَادَ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ بِسُوءٍ أَذَابَهُ اللَّهُ كَمَا يَذُوبُ الْمِلْحُ فِي الْمَاءِ

O Allah, bless the people of Medina in their mudd, the rest of the hadith being the same, and in It (this is also mentioned):" He wo intends to do harm to its people, Allah would efface him just as salt it dissolved in water."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ فِي مُدِّهِمْ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ وَفِيهِ مَنْ أَرَادَ أَهْلَهَا بِسُوءٍ أَذَابَهُ اللَّهُ كَمَا يَذُوبُ الْمِلْحُ فِي الْمَاءِ

“Whoever wishes bad upon the people of Al-Madinah, Allah will cause him to melt as salt melts in water.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ أَرَادَ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ بِسُوءٍ أَذَابَهُ اللَّهُ كَمَا يَذُوبُ الْمِلْحُ فِي الْمَاءِ

[AI] "Whoever intends the people of Medina with an assault or with evil, Allah will dissolve him as salt dissolves in water."

«مَنْ أرَادَ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ بِدَهْمٍ أَوْ بِسُوءٍ أَذَابَهُ اللهُ كَمَا يَذُوبُ الْمِلْحُ فِي الْمَاءِ»

[AI] "He said that Abu Al-Qasim said: Whoever intends harm for the people of the town, meaning the people of the city, Allah will dissolve him like salt dissolves in water."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ مَنْ أَرَادَ أَهْلَ الْبَلْدَةِ بِسُوءٍ يَعْنِي أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ أَذَابَهُ اللهُ كَمَا يَذُوبُالْمِلْحُ فِي الْمَاءِ

[AI] "He heard Abu Abdullah Al-Qarraz screaming in the mosque, saying that Abu Hurairah told me that the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever wishes harm upon the people of Medina, Allah will melt him like salt dissolves in water.'"

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ الْقَرَّاظَ يَصِيحُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ يَقُولُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ أَرَادَ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ بِسُوءٍ أَذَابَهُ اللهُ كَمَا يَذُوبُ الْمِلْحُ فِي الْمَاءِ

"اللَّهُمَّ اكْفهمْ مَنْ دَهَمَهُمْ بِبَأس يَعْنى أهَلَ الْمَدينَة ولَا يُرِيدُهَا أَحَدٌ بسُوءٍ إِلَّا أذَابَهُ الله كَمَا يَذُوبُ الْمِلحُ في الْمَاءِ" .

"منْ أَراد أَهْل الْمدِينةِ بِسُوءٍ، أذَابهُ الله كَما يذُوبُ الْملْحُ في الماءِ".

"منْ أَراد هَذِه الْبلدةَ بِسوءٍ أَذَابه الله في النَّار، كَما يذُوب الملْح في الماءِ".
