[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited fasting on the Day of Arafa. That is what Al-Harith ibn Ubayd and Al-Mahfuzh reported from Ikrima from Abu Hurairah.  

البيهقي:٩٤٧١أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ الْكَلْبِيُّ ثنا حَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ثنا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ حَوْشَبِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنْ مَهْدِيٍّ الْهَجَرِيِّ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ صَوْمِ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ بِعَرَفَةَ كَذَا قَالَ الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ وَالْمَحْفُوظُ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
