[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to apply kohl while fasting. Abu Sa'd al-Malini narrated to us, reporting from Abu Ahmad ibn 'Adi al-Hafiz, who narrated from al-Fadl ibn 'Abdullah al-Antaki, who narrated from Luwayn, who narrated from Hibban, who narrated from Ali ibn Muhammad ibn 'Ubaidullah ibn Abi Rafi', and this is also reported by.  

البيهقي:٨٢٥٨وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ وَلَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَكْتَحِلُ بِالْإِثْمِدِ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو سَعْدٍ الْمَالِينِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْطَاكِيُّ ثنا لُوَيْنٌ ثنا حِبَّانُ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ وَكَذَلِكَ  

رَوَاهُ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ بِمَعْنَاهُ
