[Machine] Abu Hurairah used to raise his voice and then lower it when he stood up at night. He would remember that the Prophet ﷺ used to do the same.  

البيهقي:٤٧١١وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْقَاضِي ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ثنا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ زَائِدَةَ بْنِ نَشِيطٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الْوَالِبِيِّ قَالَ

كَانَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ إِذَا قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ رَفَعَ طَوْرًا وَخَفَضَ طَوْرًا وَكَانَ يَذْكُرُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ وَكَذَلِكَ  

رَوَاهُ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ
