[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If one of you forgets to recite an increase or decrease while in prayer, then let him make two prostrations while sitting, then he should say the salutation." And likewise.

البيهقي:٣٨٣٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ أنبأ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الرُّومِيِّ ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ثنا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا سَهَا أَحَدُكُمْ فَلَمْ يَدْرِ أَزَادَ أَوْ نَقَصَ فَلْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ ثُمَّ يُسَلِّمُ وَكَذَلِكَ

رَوَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ يُونُسَ وَكُلُّ ذَلِكَ مُوَافِقٌ لِلرِّوَايَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
