[Machine] Ibn Umar did not recite behind the imam aloud or silently, and there were certain men who used to recite behind the imam in a specific manner.  

البيهقي:٢٩٠٣أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو وَقَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أُسَيْدُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ثنا أُسَامَةُ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ

كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ لَا يَقْرَأُ خَلْفَ الْإِمَامِ جَهَرَ أَوْ لَمْ يَجْهَرْ وَكَانَ رِجَالٌ أَئِمَّةٌ يَقْرَءُونَ وَرَاءَ الْإِمَامِ كَذَا
