[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, if I have a child after you, should I name him with your name and call him by your nickname?" He said, "Yes, and it has also been narrated from another weak source, from Muhammad ibn al-Hanafiyya, and the narration differs in its wording."  

البيهقي:١٩٣٣٠وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ السَّرِيِّ التَّمِيمِيُّ الْحَافِظُ بِالْكُوفَةِ أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ثنا فِطْرٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ مُنْذِرٍ الثَّوْرِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ يَقُولُ كَانَتْ رُخْصَةً لِعَلِيٍّ ؓ قَالَ

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنْ وُلِدَ لِي بَعْدَكَ أُسَمِّيهِ بِاسْمِكَ وَأُكَنِّيهِ بِكُنْيَتِكَ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَرُوِيَ مِنْ وَجْهٍ آخَرَ ضَعِيفٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ابْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ وَالْحَدِيثُ مُخْتَلَفٌ فِي وَصَلِهِ
