[Machine] In the hadith, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to cleanse his mouth with Siwak when he stood up to pray. Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Hafiz narrated to us, and Abu al-Walid al-Faqih informed me that Al-Hasan ibn Sufyan narrated to me, and Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Hushaym mentioned it.  

البيهقي:١٦٤وَرَوَاهُ هُشَيْمُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ فَقَالَ

فِي الْحَدِيثِ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَامَ لِيَتَهَجَّدَ يَشُوصُ فَاهُ بِالسِّوَاكِ أَخْبَرَنَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الْفَقِيهُ أنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ أنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ فَذَكَرَهُ  

أَخْرَجَهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ أَبُو سُلَيْمَانَ الْخَطَّابِيُّ الشَّوْصُ دَلْكُ الْأَسْنَانِ عَرْضًا بِالسِّوَاكِ وَبِالْإِصْبَعِ وَنَحْوِهِمَا
