[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was specifically ordered to observe the night prayer and was devoted to it.  

البيهقي:١٣٢٧١أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ كَامِلٍ الْقَاضِي أنبأ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ الْعَوْفِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنِي عَمِّي حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَوْلَهُ تَعَالَى {وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَتَهَجَّدْ بِهِ نَافِلَةً لَكَ} [الإسراء 79] يَعْنِي بِالنَّافِلَةِ أَنَّهَا

لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ خَاصَّةً أُمِرَ بِقِيَامِ اللَّيْلِ وَلَبِثَ عَلَيْهِ
