ahmad:8279 – ʿAlī b. Ḥafṣ > And Rqāʾ > Abū al-Zinād > al-Aʿraj > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah forgives Lot as he sought refuge in a strong pillar."  

أحمد:٨٢٧٩ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَفْصٍ أَخْبَرَنَا وَرْقَاءُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَغْفِرُ اللهُ لِلُوطٍ إِنَّهُ أَوَى إِلَى رُكْنٍ شَدِيدٍ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "May Allah forgive Lot: He wanted to have a powerful support."  

البخاري:٣٣٧٥ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ {يَغْفِرُ اللَّهُ لِلُوطٍ إِنْ كَانَ لَيَأْوِي إِلَى رُكْنٍ شَدِيدٍ}  

muslim:151e – Zuhayr b. Ḥarb > Shabābah > And Rqāʾ > Abū al-Zinād > al-Aʿraj > Abū Hurayrah

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira through another chain of transmitters but with a slight variation of wording.
