[Machine] I witnessed the Prophet of Allah ﷺ when he ordered their stoning. When they were stoned, I saw him protecting his face with his hands to prevent the stones from hitting him.
شَهِدْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حِينَ أَمَرَ بِرَجْمِهِمَا فَلَمَّا رُجِمَا رَأَيْتُهُ يُجَانِئُ بِيَدَيْهِ عَنْهَا لِيَقِيَهَا الْحِجَارَةَ
