[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, is Hajj performed every year?" He ﷺ replied, "No, it is an obligation for every individual once in a lifetime. If I had said yes, it would have been obligatory every year."

أحمد:٢٧٤١ – حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ الْحَجُّ كُلَّ عَامٍ؟ فَقَالَ بَلْ حَجَّةٌ عَلَى كُلِّ إِنْسَانٍ وَلَوْ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ كُلَّ عَامٍ لَكَانَ كُلَّ عَامٍ

[Machine] A man asked the Prophet ﷺ about performing Hajj every year. He replied, "Every Muslim must perform Hajj, even if I had said every year, it would still be obligatory."
