[Machine] I heard Anas ibn Malik say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ never went out on the day of Eid al-Fitr before eating dates. Anas would eat three dates before going out, but if he wanted to eat more, he would eat five. And if he wanted to eat even more, he would eat an odd number (i.e., seven or nine).
