"Do not cut off one another, nor desert one another, nor hate one another, nor envy one another. Be you , O worshippers o Allah, brothers. It is not lawful for the Muslim to shun his brother for more than three(days)." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1935)

[Machine] A man from the Bedouins came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, when is the Hour (i.e., the Day of Judgment)?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "What have you prepared for it?" The Bedouin said, "I have not prepared much for it, except that I love Allah and His Messenger." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said to him, "Indeed, you will be with those whom you love."

[Machine] Some of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked for water and could not find any. So, the Prophet ﷺ said, "Here is some water." Then, I saw the Prophet ﷺ placing his hand into the container containing the water and saying, "Perform ablution in the name of Allah." I saw the water gushing out between his fingers, and the people performed ablution until the last of them performed ablution. Thabit said, "I asked Anas, 'How many were they?' He replied, 'Around seventy.'"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah has promised me that He will admit four hundred thousand from my Ummah (nation) into Paradise." Abu Bakr said, "Increase us, O Messenger of Allah." He replied, "Like that," and raised his hand. Abu Bakr said again, "Increase us, O Messenger of Allah." He replied, "Like that." Then Umar said, "That is enough for you, Abu Bakr." Abu Bakr said, "Leave me alone, O Umar, for it is not upon you to make Allah admit us all into Paradise." Umar said, "Indeed, if Allah wills, He can admit His creation into Paradise with one hand." Then the Prophet ﷺ said, "Umar has spoken the truth."

[Machine] Some of the Ansar said on the day of Hunayn, when Allah bestowed upon His Messenger the spoils of war, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would give one hundred camels to every man of Quraysh. They said, "May Allah forgive the Messenger of Allah; he gives Quraysh and leaves us, and our swords are dripping with their blood." Anas said, "When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was informed about their statements, he sent for the Ansar and gathered them in a dome made of adobe, and no one else was with them. When they had gathered, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to them and said, "What is the news that has reached me about you?" The Ansar said: "As for those who are of our opinion, they did not say anything, but as for the newcomers among us, they said such and such in response to what they had said." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, I give to men who have newly entered into a pledge of disbelief, which I hope they will embrace or ask me for. Do you not want the people to go away with the wealth and you return to your own possessions with the Messenger of Allah?" They said, "Indeed, O Messenger of Allah, we are satisfied." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, you will find severe difficulty after me, so be patient until you meet Allah and His Messenger, for I will meet you at the Pond." Anas said, "So we were patient."

[Machine] We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he said, "A man from the people of Paradise will appear before you now." Then, a man from the Ansar (Helpers) came in, his beard was dripping from the water of ablution, and he had left his sandals in his left hand. When the next day came, the Prophet ﷺ said the same thing, and the same man came in the same manner. On the third day, the Prophet ﷺ said the same thing, and the same man appeared in the same condition as before. When the Prophet ﷺ got up, Abdullah bin Umar bin Al-As followed him and said, "I have realized that I want to stay with my father. So, I decided not to follow him for three times. If you allow me to stay with you until you finish, then I will do so." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Yes." Anas said, Abdullah bin Umar used to tell us about his staying in those three (extended) nights, and he never saw him (the man) get up at night except that he would mention Allah and make takbir (Allahu Akbar) until he stood up for Fajr prayer. Abdullah bin Umar added, "I did not hear him say anything except what was good. When the three nights passed, and I was almost belittling his deeds, I said to him, 'O Abdullah! There was never any angry or harsh word between me and my father, nor was there any negligence or hatred. However, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying about you for three times, "A man from the people of Paradise will appear before you now." You were that man for three times, so I wanted to stay with you in order to observe your actions so that I could follow you. But I did not see you doing many deeds. So, what has made you attain this status that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke about?' He replied, 'It is nothing but what you have seen.' Abdullah bin Umar replied, 'When we parted with the Prophet ﷺ , he called me and said, "It is nothing but what you have seen, besides I don't feel capable of cheating or envying any Muslim for the good that Allah has given him." Abdullah bin Umar added, 'These are the words that made me realize the man's status.'"

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ kept silent and looked at him. We said to him, "Sit down, for you have asked the Messenger of Allah a question that he does not like." Then the man stood up again and asked the same question. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked at him with a more serious expression than before. He said to him, "Sit down, for you have already asked me a question that I do not like." Then the man stood up a third time and asked, "O Messenger of Allah, when is the Hour?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Woe to you! What have you prepared for it?" The man replied, "I have prepared love for Allah and His Messenger." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Sit down, for you will be with the one you love."

They offered to pay compensatory money, but they refused. So they came to Prophet ﷺ who ordered retaliation. Anas bin Nadr said: 'O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, will the tooth of Rubai' be broken? By the One Who sent you with the truth, it will not be broken!' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'O Anas, what Allah has decreed is retaliation.' So the people accepted that and forgave her. Upon this the Ansar said: It is strange that our swords are dripping with their blood, whereas our spoils have been given to them (to the Quraish).
