[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah has promised me that He will admit four hundred thousand from my Ummah (nation) into Paradise." Abu Bakr said, "Increase us, O Messenger of Allah." He replied, "Like that," and raised his hand. Abu Bakr said again, "Increase us, O Messenger of Allah." He replied, "Like that." Then Umar said, "That is enough for you, Abu Bakr." Abu Bakr said, "Leave me alone, O Umar, for it is not upon you to make Allah admit us all into Paradise." Umar said, "Indeed, if Allah wills, He can admit His creation into Paradise with one hand." Then the Prophet ﷺ said, "Umar has spoken the truth."  

أحمد:١٢٦٩٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَوْ عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ وَعَدَنِي أَنْ يُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي أَرْبَعَمِائَةِ أَلْفٍ فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ زِدْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ وَهَكَذَا وَجَمَعَ كَفَّهُ قَالَ زِدْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ وَهَكَذَا فَقَالَ عُمَرُ حَسْبُكَ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ دَعْنِي يَا عُمَرُ وَمَا عَلَيْكَ أَنْ يُدْخِلَنَا اللهُ الْجَنَّةَ كُلَّنَا فَقَالَ عُمَرُ إِنَّ اللهَ إِنْ شَاءَ أَدْخَلَ خَلْقَهُ الْجَنَّةَ بِكَفٍّ وَاحِدٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ صَدَقَعُمَرُ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "My Lord promised me that He would admit one hundred thousand of my Ummah (followers) into Paradise." Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O Messenger of Allah, increase us." The Prophet ﷺ repeated the same gesture with his hand and said, "O Abu Bakr, like this." Abu Bakr asked again, "O Prophet of Allah, increase us." The Prophet ﷺ repeated the same gesture and said, "O Abu Bakr, like this." Abu Bakr asked for the third time, "O Prophet of Allah, increase us." The Prophet ﷺ responded, "O Umar, what is between us and you, O son of Al-Khattab?" Umar replied, "Indeed, Allah is capable of admitting all people into Paradise with just one handful." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Umar speaks the truth."  

أحمد:١٣٠٠٧ – حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ وَعَدَنِي رَبِّي أَنْ يُدْخِلَ لي مِنْ أُمَّتِي الْجَنَّةَ مِائَةَ أَلْفٍ فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ زِدْنَا قَالَلَهُ وَهَكَذَا وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ قَالَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ زِدْنَا فَقَالَ وَهَكَذَا وَأَشَارَ بِيَدِهِ قَالَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ زِدْنَا فَقَالَ وَهَكَذَا فَقَالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ قَطْكَ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ قَالَ مَا لَنَا وَلَكَ يَا ابْنَ الْخَطَّابِ؟ قَالَ لَهُ عُمَرُ إِنَّ اللهَ قَادِرٌ أَنْ يُدْخِلَ النَّاسَ الْجَنَّةَ كُلَّهُمْ بِحَفْنَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ صَدَقَ عُمَرُ

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah has promised me to admit three hundred thousand of my Ummah (nation) into Paradise." Umair said, "O Prophet of Allah, increase our share." Umar said, "It is sufficient for you, O Umair." Umair asked, "Why not for us and for you, O Ibn Al-Khattab? And what is upon you to make Allah admit us into Paradise?" Umar replied, "Indeed, Allah Almighty can admit people into Paradise with a handful or even with a blade of grass." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Umar spoke the truth."  

الطبراني:١٤٢٥٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ مَنْدَهْ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ قَالَا ثَنَا أَبُو حَفْصِ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى وَعَدَنِي أَنْ يُدْخِلَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي ثَلَاثَمِائَةِ أَلْفٍ الْجَنَّةَ» فَقَالَ عُمَيْرٌ يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ زِدْنَا فَقَالَ عُمَرُ حَسْبُكَ يَا عُمَيْرُ فَقَالَ مَا لَنَا وَلَكَ يَا ابْنَ الْخَطَّابِ وَمَا عَلَيْكَ أَنْ يُدْخِلَنَا اللهُ الْجَنَّةَ؟ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ إِنَّ اللهَ جَلَّ وَعَزَّ إِنْ شَاءَ أدْخَلَ النَّاسَ الْجَنَّةَ بِحَفْنَةٍ أَوْ بِحَثْيَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «صَدَقَ عُمَرُ»

"عن أنس قال: قالَ رسولُ الله ﷺ إِنَّ الله وَعدَنِى أنْ يدخلَ الجنَّةَ مِنْ أُمَّتِى أربعمائة ألفٍ، فقالَ أبُو بكر الصديق: زِدْنَا يا رسولَ الله قَالَ: وهكذا جَمَعَ يديه، قالَ: زِدْنا يا رسول الله. قالَ: وهكذا، فقال عمرُ: حَسْبُك يا أبا بكر، قال أبو بكر: دَعْنِى يا عمرُ! وما عليك أن يدخلَنا الله الجنة كلنا، فقالَ عمرُ: إن شاءَ أدخل خلقه الجنة بكفٍّ واحدٍ. فقال النبي ﷺ : صدقَ عُمَرُ".
