[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The most beloved thing to Allah is the strangers." It was said, "Who are the strangers?" He said, "Those who flee for the sake of their religion. Allah will resurrect them on the Day of Judgment with Jesus, the son of Mary, ﷺ ." Abu Abdur-Rahman heard Sufyan ibn Waki' saying, "I hope that Ahmad ibn Hanbal will be among them."  

الزهد لأحمد:٨٠٩حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَحَبُّ شَيْءٍ إِلَى اللَّهِ الْغُرَبَاءُ» قِيلَ وَمَنِ الْغُرَبَاءُ؟ قَالَ الْفَرَّارُونَ بِدِينِهِمْ؛ يَبْعَثُهُمُ اللَّهُ ﷻ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَعَ عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ سَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ بْنَ وَكِيعٍ يَقُولُ إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ مِنْهُمْ
