ahmad-zuhd:74ʿAbdullāh from my father > Ḥajjāj > Sharīk > ʿAbd al-Malik b. ʿUmayr > ʿAbdullāh b. Shaddād Rafaʿ al-Ḥadīth

[Machine] "Whoever wears wool, cares for sheep, rides donkeys, and responds to the invitation of a poor man or a servant, will not be recorded with any arrogance."  

الزهد لأحمد:٧٤حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ رَفَعَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ

«مَنْ لَبِسَ الصُّوفَ وَاعْتَقَلَ الشَّاةَ وَرَكِبَ الْحِمَارَ وَأَجَابَ دَعْوَةَ الرَّجُلِ الدُّونِ أَوِ الْعَبْدِ لَمْ يُكْتَبْ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْكِبْرِ شَيْءٌ»
