الزهد لأحمد:٢٢٣٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حَفْصَ بْنَ غِيَاثٍ قَالَ دَخَلَ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَلَى مُجَمِّعِ التَّيْمِيِّ قَالَ فَإِذَا فِي إِزَارِ سُفْيَانَ خَرْقٌ قَالَ فَأَخَذَ أَرْبَعَةَ دَرَاهِمَ فَنَاوَلَ سُفْيَانَ فَقَالَ اشْتَرِ إِزَارًا قَالَ سُفْيَانُ لَا أَحْتَاجُ إِلَيْهَا قَالَ مُجَمِّعٌ صَدَقْتَ أَنْتَ لَا تَحْتَاجُ وَلَكِنْ أَنَا أَحْتَاجُ قَالَ فَأَخَذَهَا فَاشْتَرَى بِهَا إِزَارًا قَالَ فَكَانَ سُفْيَانُ يَقُولُ كَسَانِي مُجَمِّعٌ جَزَاهُ اللَّهُ خَيْرًا وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ لَيْسَ شَيْءٌ مِنْ عِلْمِي أَرْجُو

أَنْ لَا يَشُوبَهُ شَيْءٌ كَحُبِّي مُجَمِّعًا التَّيْمِيَّ
