ahmad-zuhd:2169ʿAbdullāh from my father > Muḥammad b. Fuḍayl > Bukayr b. ʿAtīq

[Machine] I brought Sa'id bin Jubayr a cup containing a drink of honey, and he drank it. Then he said, "By Allah, this feeling will not leave me." I asked, "Why?" He replied, "I drank it and found it delightful."  

الزهد لأحمد:٢١٦٩حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ حَدَّثَنَا بُكَيْرُ بْنُ عَتِيقٍ قَالَ

أَتَيْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ بِقَدَحٍ فِيهِ شَرْبَةُ عَسَلٍ فَشَرِبَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ وَاللَّهِ لَا تَسْكُنُ عَنِّي هَذِهِ قُلْتُ لِمَهْ؟ قَالَ «إِنِّي شَرِبْتُهُ واسْتَلْذَذْتُ بِهِ»
