ahmad-zuhd:2091 – ʿAbdullāh from my father > al-Naḍr b. Ismāʿīl ʿAmman

[Machine] And he said, "They were called the family of Al-Aswad from the people of paradise."  

الزهد لأحمد:٢٠٩١ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَمَّنْ أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ كَانَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ يُصَلِّي كُلَّ يَوْمٍ سَبْعَمِائَةِ رَكْعَةٍ قَالَ وَكَانُوا يَقُولُونَ إِنَّهُ أَقَلُّ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ اجْتِهَادًا قَالَ وَلَقَدْ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّهُ صَارَ عَظْمًا وَجِلْدًا

وَقَالَ كَانُوا يُسَمُّونَ آلَ الْأَسْوَدِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ
